Following extensive research, we drive the actual route by car to select hotels, restaurants, and attractions. We use superior hotels, usually in downtown locations, to provide a feeling for the city, with easy access to shops and points of interest, during your leisure time. Popular attractions are included with your tour, and frequent use is made of local guides, to provide the best possible information. Meals are included where we feel they will improve your tour, by creating a unique experience, or by eliminating delays.

Travelling days are pleasant, seldom exceeding 250 miles, and many hotel stays are for two nights or more. Our itineraries are arranged to make numerous stops throughout the day, but still arrive at our destination by 4:30pm or earlier, allowing time to relax and enjoy your hotel.

Jackson Tours are priced to accurately reflect the true cost of your vacation. To avoid extra charges, we include most components, along with Cancellation Protection, in the price of your tour. Included meals, attractions, and sightseeing are clearly described in our brochure, and are not sold as options. These tours, arranged and guided by Collette Vacations, have been modified for Jackson Tours, and will be escorted by Doug Jackson. All four tours include the Collette Waiver & Insurance Plan which provides cancellation protection, and medical insurance with no exclusions due to age or pre-existing medical conditions. Our regular programme of Canadian tours will be mailed in January.

Legendary Waterways of Europe, visits five countries while cruising the Danube, Main, and Rhine rivers, from Budapest to Amsterdam, aboard the beautiful new MS Amadeus Diamond. This cruise was so popular last year that we are offering it again for 2010!

Exploring Alpine Countries & Oberammergau's Passion Play, visits Austria, Germany, and Switzerland and includes the famous Oberammergau Passion Play, which is only performed every ten years! This tour has been moved from spring to summer and a discount of $200 per person is offered until November 31.
